Letters to Santa

Isaiah face-planted at recess.  I had to go pick him up.  The staff was ridiculously apologetic and I was like "Duh, he's a kid, he falls, no big deal."  But then the next day I was talking to this other mom in the class and she was asking what happened to his face and she was telling me how she can't believe they let them run on the playground, "Running is so dangerous at their age" she said.  And, "Every day when my daughter comes home I check over her entire body to see if she has any bruises or cuts."  And then it started to make sense why the staff was so worried about how I might react--it's because they have dealt with moms like that one.  I'm like as far from that as you can get!  He could've had a broken limb and I wouldn't care. I mean I'd CARE but I wouldn't be upset with the staff, it's just a kid thing, I'd just be glad he was out there playing and having fun!  Since this happened there have apparently been several kids get concussions and running is no longer allowed at my children's school.  Lamest thing ever.

I had to take this picture quick before she kept writing because NO WAY does Eliza want a doll for Christmas!  What she wanted was a dollhouse to use as a home for her stuffed animals.  My kids LOVE stuffed animals but they OPPOSITE OF LOVE dolls.

"I want a dollhouse and a clock [heart] Eliza"
