I decided to try out taking the kids to the beach. I haven't ever taken them by myself. It's a lot of work getting ready, and I wasn't sure I could safely keep an eye on both of them (I'm a little paranoid when it comes to water safety). But they're a bit older and slightly more obedient now, so I gave it a try. It turned out great! The weather cooperated, as did the children. I'm looking forward to going more often this summer!
