My kids love McDonald's (of course) and I really didn't want it to become a regular place for us; I don't think it's going to kill you to eat there sometimes but I wanted to keep it from becoming a habit. So one time when Jerel was out of town for work, I took the kids there. They played on the equipment for like 3 hours (and killing time is key when I'm flying solo with the kids) and eat almost 2 whole bites of food--a success. So I decided we'll just eat at McDonald's when Jerel is out of town. Sadly (for the kids) Jerel doesn't travel as much as he used to; they only get McD a few times a year and it's killing them. Isaiah regularly asks if daddy is EVER going to leave town again, and on the rare occasions he does leave town the kids are (sadly for Jerel) super excited and can't wait for him to be gone. It takes a real man to come in second place to a chicken nugget.
