These are the little everyday moments I don't want to forget. You know that moment when you hear sleepy little footsteps upstairs, and soon a messy-haired kid says "good morning, mommy" and then comes down to snuggle their way from sleep to alert? That moment doesn't exist at our house; I hear running footsteps upstairs and then a kid appears at the top of the stairs who says "Mommy, chocolate milk please." I only let them have it once a day and it's not really chocolate milk, it's carnation instant breakfast, which has some vitamins and such in it (hidden beneath way too much sugar, but it's something).
