Uncle Ryan, Aunt Amy, Sadie, Brigham, Bonnie, Lincoln, Mollie, and Sophie came to visit us for their spring break. They stayed with us and we had so much fun! I love it when people come visit because then we actually get out and enjoy Portland. We went to the tulip festival, which is one of my favorite places. Isaiah had a sore ankle that day so he had a hard time having fun, but we saw lots of tulips and some old tractors and my kids had their first elephant ears.

Isaiah bravely leaves the stroller long enough to be hoisted up into this old tractor. His ankle was sore from our hike the day before. |
He is pretty sure that "smile" actually means "squeeze your eyes shut." |
He's like, "I think I'll eat this stroller." And Eliza is like, "?" |

Brigham, Sadie, Lincoln, Mollie, Isaiah, Eliza, Bonnie, and Sophie. Sadie (the oldest) is about to turn 14; the rest of their ages can be extrapolated from there. Or wait, maybe it's actually interpolation rather than extrapolation... |

Because even though before you had kids, you swore they would learn to eat the healthy food offered them (or go hungry), it turns out that hungry kids are really whiny. So when one wants fries and the other wants a chocolate elephant ear you're like, "Phew, the whining will stop for at least 37 seconds!" |
Eliza was super excited about the huge slide. There were enough big cousins around keeping an eye on her that I didn't worry about here and she happily went down about ten times! |
This was one of the few activities a sore-ankled child could enjoy, so Zay spent a LONG time on these swings. |
